The catwalks of London, Paris and New York fashion week, showed as it’s  usual an

eclectic array of fashions, from a collection of designers, but a few trends are shining out already, and are definitely being translated into the high street stores.

Lace fabrics, and single prints grand enough to use as statement wallpaper are the biggest shout this summer, and this year the catwalks seemed to take us back to the two piece and layered look, so skirts, trousers and blouses, dresses with jackets, and dresses with design separation at the waist.

The lace trend is the biggest of them all this season, and the more intricate the better, Channel, Mui Mui, and Vera Wang all show lace in their collections, and it can now be seen in the hight street stores including at, Zara, H&M, New Look and Next.

single prints were scattered throughout most of the catwalk collections, and bring us a bit of class and glamour to our wardrobes this summer.

GUCCI summer 2012

The Channel and Gucci collections were full of two piece outfits, making the waist a focal point, and again the high street has picked up this trend pretty quick and filled its shelves with blouses, jackets, tailored pants and pencil skirts. So get mix and matching ladies, and you won’t go wrong.

Coats are big this season, and it’s all thanks to the amazing  array of different styles and shapes we saw on the runways of Vera Wang, Marc Jacobs and the like in their winter 20112012 collections.

knitted ponchos, cardi-coats, capes and blanket wraps, were some of many styles that hit the catwalk.

This winter the high street designers, have pulled out all the stops to make sure the amazing designs have been mirrored in the coats you can find hanging in the high street stores.

H&M, Zara, M&S and other stores alike have really jumped on this seasons trend of statement coats.

we are seeing a lot of full length coats, as were seen on the runways of Michael korrs, faux fur collar wraps are a must, for the party season ahead, thanks to the innovative designs from Vera Wang’s collection, and capes are back again this year too.

Ladies if you want to be bang on trend, then make your coat your statement piece this season, and there are plenty of styles to choose from, rather than the norm, of one particular style, designers went all out this year and brought us a wide selection, and each and every one of those styles can be found in all the high street stores, and Mail order retail companies.

Here a just a few.

As we move into the autumn season of new fashion trends, we also move into a season of new make up trends.Designers this season have shown us a few that are a must for the season ahead of us. The runways of Jean Paul Gaultier and Oscar De La Renta brought us models with fresh nude make up, clear lips, light blush cheeks and minimal eyes, opting for soft pencil and natural shaded eyes, perfect for that pure daytime look.Dolce and Gabbana and Chloe, paired their classic looks with a classic make up style, the ‘smoky eye’. This was also seen on the runways of Vera Wang, channel and Roberto Cavalli, but with a bit of a difference, these designers chose braver, bolder colours. We saw shades of plum, purple, and this season big colour, orange.

Expect to see a lot of citrus shades on the make up counters right now, to add some zest to your make up bag.Liquid liners were used for a more dramatic eye, perfect for the party season ahead. In contrast we also saw soft pencil liners, which is perfect for the older woman to look youthful.Be bold, and try some different colour eye pencils. Whatever your personality, there is definitely an eye make up trend to suit.
