Cheryl Cole is suing Now magazine for libel because of a story in which a front page headline claimed she was involved in a “secret romance” with rapper MC Harvey.
Cheryl Cole has filed papers to sue the magazine over the stories it ran after an interview with the Rapper. 32 year-old MC Harvey, real name Michael Harvey Jr, allegedly spoke with Now magazine and after much probing, revealed that he had a secret relationship with Cole, after her split from Footballer Ashley Cole. Cheryl Cole took to twitter immediately, when the story broke tweeting “Was this ‘relationship’ happening in your head?” A heated Twitter argument between the pair, followed with Harvey saying he had the emails to prove it, and ended his rant saying “rather go broke and work in Sainsbury’s than talk about Cole’s personal life”.
Cheryl Cole 28, is also suing over a later story headlined: Cheryl & Harvey: The Proof. Which claims that MC Harvey went on to take copies of the mentioned emails to the Magazine, with the purpose to, in his words, prove his relationship with Cheryl Cole.
Cole has filed papers against publishers IPC Media at the High Court suing for aggravated damages, for the original story and has accused Now magazine’s publishers of misusing private information about her, in the stories and is seeking an injunction to ban IPC media from repeating the allegations
Russell Brand has been arrested, after a warrant was issued for his arrest by New Orleans Police, following an incident on monday.
Russell Brand is accused of stealing a mobile phone and throwing it through a window of a nearby office.
It is thought that after hearing the warrant had been produced, Brand handed himself in. His mug shot was taken, and he was charged with ‘simple criminal damage to property valued at $700′The warrant was issued after the incident on monday in which photographer Timothy Jackson, claims that Brand snatched his iPhone, after Photographer Jackson took the opportunity to snap pictures of Brand. Brand is said to have then thrown the phone which went through the front window of a nearby law firm office.
A few days ago paparazzi got into a little dispute with Hollywood actor and Comedian Russell Brand, but this dispute looks like it may not be so little now.
After Russell Brand snatched an iPhone from a photographer for taking photographs of the actor , Brand allegedly threw it and it broke the window of a nearby law firm. Today TMZ.com has claimed that New Orleans police have a misdemeanor warrant for criminal damage to property was issued against Brand following his run in. It is thought Brand was in the middle of filming in Nawlins, on Monday when the incident happened, and it was all caught on camera. This is the momet the incident is said to have happened.according to TMZ.com People connected to Russell Brand, contacted the law firm and said the actor would be willing to pay for the damage to the window.

It is thought that the New Orleans Police are now searching for Russel Brand.

Women scream and men run away: When it comes to arguing with your partner, there’s a lot of learning to be done
A PARSHIP study shows that women tend to react more emotionally than men, while men tend to withdraw from relationship strife. 41% of Parship members surveyed, admit that, when they argue with their partner, they can easily let their emotions run away with them. When there is strife in a relationship, strong emotional reactions are more frequent among women than men (45% vs 36%) according to the findings of a representative survey of c.1000 people between 18 and 65, conducted by PARSHIP (uk.parship.com), the leading online dating agency across Europe. Offended or overcome with rage.
The survey also shows that, among people who react emotionally in the event of conflict, the nature of the emotional outburst differs widely: 40% rapidly take offence and stop speaking to their partner; around a third give vent to their anger and labour their point until their partner gives in, and around one in five withdraw from the argument, leaving the room or the house. Strikingly, men attempt significantly more frequently than women to withdraw from the argument and flee the situation, while women have a greater tendency to give vent to their anger.
“Insufficient skill in handling conflict is often the trigger for the failure of a relationship,” explains psychologist Markus Ernst, PARSHIP relationship expert. “For instance, gender-driven differences in communication style can easily lead to misunderstandings or even to the couple hurting each other. Women and men stand to learn something from each other in these situations as they work together to establish a constructive attitude to conflict in their relationship.” .
The independent online survey took place in January 2012.
Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has hit the headlines again, this time it’s the speculation that the 25-year-old has had some drastic cosmetic procedures on her face, leaving her barely recognisable.
Lohan, 25, stepped out in New York City with what looked like plumped-up cheeks and lips. cosmetic surgeons have said that if it is a cosmetic procedure,is likely to be as a result of having facial fillers. This is not the first speculation of Lindsayundergoing cosmetic procedures, in the past we have seen her breast size increased dramatically, with people assuming she had undergone an augmentation, and in recent years her lips have been looking a little fuller, suggesting that she may have had fillers before.
The change in Lohan’s face has caused a media storm, and it was reported that, because of the transformation Lindsay actually look older than her 25 years, paparazzi had mistaken 67-year-old 80’s pop icon Debbie Harry for Lindsay whilst they were staying in the same hotel.
Lohan has not commented on her new appearance, so we can only speculate as to what has caused it, but there is no mistaking that there is a change. Lindsay stepped out earlier today, and was sporting a new red-head look, going back to her original almost natural hair colour, after being blonde in the recent past.

New Movie Payback Season will be released in cinemas across the country this week, starring a selection of British actors, Bafta award-winning actor Adam Deacon, Nichola Burley, Leo Gregory, David Ajala, Anna Popplewell and Arnold Oceng amongst them.

Arnold Oceng has been named as ‘one to watch’ for 2012 by Young Voices magazine, his career is going from strength to strength, both in acting and as his music alter ego ‘Snakeyman‘. We caught up with Arnold for a chat. He tells us whats it’s like reuniting with his former co-star, about his big plans for the future, and what it means to him to be considered a role model, to young british film lovers.
Hi Arnold, we are looking forward to the release of your new movie Payback Season, (Released Friday March-9th 2012) can you tell our readers a little bit, what the film is about?
Payback season is about one person’s success and how his background comes back to haunt him.
It looks like it was a fun movie to do, what was it like on set with Adam Deacon, David Ajala, and co?
Well as I’m sure your aware, me and Adam have been on many sets together so that was kinda natural. But yeh to be on set with David and Ike for the first time was cool. There’s a lot of waiting round, so a lot of the time was spent doing what boys do… Ideal job eh!
Last year you were nominated for the Screen Nation Awards ‘young rising star’, how does it feel to have your talents recognised and appreciated?
Very nice actually, as a young black actor in the UK, there aren’t that many platforms for your talent to be recognised, so it’s also appreciated! Since then I’ve been in quite a few things, so hopefully it won’t be the last time and then I can go even further and represent UK talent.
You had an amazing 2011 with some great roles, in films like Top Boy and Demons never Die, how did those films, develop you as an actor?
WOW, that’s a good question! Demons was more of a cameo for me as I knew the producers very well, but to be involved directly with Idris Elba through the project definitely opened my eyes. Playing ‘money man Fem’ in Top Boy was wicked, again it was a whole new team to be a part of and the whole nation got to see me play a new type of character. That accent still gets commented on now!
At Sataloma News we are always searching for good role models for the youth in the uk, we think you are one of those role models, how does it feel knowing that young Britain is looking up to you?
Just humbling really, as an actor you just try to be the best you can on-screen. But that’s just my job. To be recognised as a role model isn’t something I take for granted! I’m glad you feel young Britain is looking up to me as we all know there is a lot of bad things going on that they could be focussing on.
What advice would you give the kids today, who are looking to chase their dreams, just like you have?
To get involved, with all the social networks and government-funded projects that are around us which has been the catalyst for so much creativity and achievement. You can truly be what you want to be if you just get involved, get the ball rolling man!
What kind of acting roles are you looking to do in the future?
Just ones I haven’t done before really, Ive achieved a lot for my age, so if I can diversify now, hopefully I won’t become too typecast in the future. If I had to say one though, I’d say ones with authority, a policeman, doctor or a fireman that sort of character.
You have a music alter ego, Snakeyman, what is happening right now with the music ?
Lots man, My new track ‘Soldiers’ comes out on March 26th and features Ghetts on the remix. After that, next single out in June followed by an EP.

3 films this year and more music. Right now I’m focused on the 3 M’s. Money, Music and Movies!!

We will always remember where we were, when we heard the tragic and sad news that Whitney Houston had passed away. The news sent shock waves through the entertainment industry, sparking outcries of grief. Whitney has been described by so many people over the years as the beautiful woman with the best voice in the world, Oprah Winfrey calling her simply, ‘The Voice’ Her vocal range and the heavenly tone to her voice, has made it immediately recognisable and loved by millions. Whitney Houston has had many highs and lows in her life, her career success is unprecedented, winning over 400 awards during her singing and acting career, platinum selling albums, sell out concerts worldwide, and a name that is a known in almost every country on the planet. Her relationship, and subsequent marriage to R&B artist Bobby Brown was globally documented. A high-profile wedding, public displays of affection toward each other, fights, court appearances, and regularly documented, battle against drug addiction. The pair had a daughter together, Bobbi-Kristina, in 1993, now 18 years old the young lady was evidently and not surprisingly devastated by the untimely death of her mother, she was even said to have been briefly taken into a rehab and relaxation center. Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel suite, on February 11, it has been reported that she was found in her bath tub. The cause of death is yet to be released. Her death came on the eve of the Grammy Awards, and became the main foocus of the evening, as the shocking news spread. A funeral was held for whitney a few days later. Whitney’s now ex husband, arrived at the global superstars funeral, but when he demanded to be taken to his daughter, security alledgedly refused to take him near her, and he stormed out of the church before the ceremony even began, causing a media storm.
Whitey has now been laid to rest in Newark, New Jersey, next to her beloved father John Jr., gone but neer forgotten.
Born Whitney Elizabeth Houston, in Newark New Jersey , in 1963, her mother Cici, a gospel singer and her father John, an army serviceman, could neer have imagined what and who they had created. With a plethora of singers amongst her family including Dionne Warwick, her own mother, and her godmother, Darlene Love and life long family friend Aretha Franklin, it wasn’t a great surprise that Whitney was musical, but no one could ever have guessed the impact miss Houston would have on the world of entertainment.
Discovered by Clive Davis, in 1983, after a colleague of his at Arista Records saw her perform with her mother on stage, Davis was so impressed by Whitney’s vocals, and beautiful look, that he immediately offered her a worldwide record contract, and her debut album Whitney Houston, was a global hit.
the rest as they say is history, id be shocked if there was a person on this planet that didn’t know a Whitney song, her tracks are timeless and will stay on the radio waves forever.
Rest In Peace Whitney.
